![]() To abstract oneself from the outside world, for the time of a painting, to better describe your inner reality. The only abstraction would then be that of the artist. They might be images of our inner reality. Yet recognizable shapes or subjects continue to emerge. I break any straight line or deform regular curves. Maybe that's also why I'm more attracted by warm colors. Perhaps that's why the result is vegetal, mineral, or even animal impressions thanks to a pareidolia. I love to melt colors, see them evolve on the medium and let myself be surprised by painting and learning from it. This is, to say it briefly, what I keep searching for in painting, formally speaking. I'm obsessed by the tingling caused by the multiplicity of touches, of the splashes or material effects and colors that coexist or melt to create an infinity of shades.
